Everything you need to know about working with Xact Construction.

    The Process

Our process begins with a complimentary consultation where we discuss your vision, timeline, and budget. From there, we move into design development — creating detailed architectural plans and 3D renderings. Once approved, we handle permitting, material procurement, and construction with a dedicated project manager overseeing every detail. You'll receive weekly progress updates and have direct access to our team throughout.

Timelines vary based on scope. A kitchen renovation typically takes 8–12 weeks. A whole-home renovation runs 4–8 months. Ground-up new construction ranges from 10–18 months depending on size and complexity. Our Renco MCFR and 3D-printed methods can reduce structural timelines by 20–40%.

Yes — we manage the entire permitting process. Our team has deep relationships with local building departments across South Florida and handles all submissions, revisions, and inspections on your behalf. You never have to set foot in a permitting office.

Changes happen — we plan for them. Our project managers document every change order with clear pricing and timeline impacts before any work proceeds. We use a transparent approval process so there are never surprises. Our goal is to be flexible without losing control of budget or schedule.

    Pricing & Estimates

The planning model uses your project type, approximate area, location, finish level, structural complexity, and site logistics to build a concept-stage cost range. It shows the assumptions driving that range instead of presenting false precision. A consultation, plan review, and site visit replace those assumptions with project facts before Xact prepares a formal proposal.

Our estimates are comprehensive and transparent. They include design, engineering, permitting, all materials and labor, project management, inspections, and cleanup. We don't bury costs in allowances or exclude categories that will inevitably appear later. What we quote is what you pay — plus any client-initiated change orders.

Every change order is documented with a clear scope description, cost impact, and timeline adjustment. Nothing proceeds without your written approval. We track all changes in our project management system so you always have a real-time view of your budget.

We partner with several premium construction lenders who specialize in luxury residential and commercial projects. We can connect you with financing options during your initial consultation. Typical arrangements include construction-to-permanent loans and phased payment schedules.

    Technology

RENCO MCFR (Mineral Composite Fiber Reinforced) is an interlocking composite building system. Xact evaluates RENCO blocks as an alternative above-grade wall system for eligible custom homes; the foundation and roof remain separately designed and priced.

A robotic printing system, operated with our technology partners, deposits concrete in precise layers following a digital blueprint. The printer builds walls and structural elements with millimeter accuracy — no formwork, no over-pouring, minimal waste. This enables organic forms and curves that would be prohibitively expensive with traditional methods and can reduce material waste compared with formwork-based construction.

Absolutely — and many of our clients do. A common approach is using Renco MCFR for the structural shell (for hurricane resistance and speed) with traditional luxury finishes throughout the interior. We'll recommend the optimal combination based on your project's specific requirements.

RENCO has an IAPMO Uniform Evaluation Service report for its building system under the International Building Code. Each home still requires project-specific architecture, engineering, product approvals, permitting, inspections, and approval by the local authority.

    Millwork

Our in-house studio — Palm Beach Fabricators — builds custom cabinetry, vanities, furniture, architectural wall paneling, coffered ceilings, crown molding, wine cellars, home bars, reception desks, fireplace surrounds, and virtually any custom wood or mixed-material piece you can envision.

We work with exotic hardwoods (walnut, rosewood, zebrawood, wenge), domestic hardwoods (white oak, maple, cherry, ash), metal integrations (brass, bronze, blackened steel), lacquer and high-gloss finishes, painted and specialty finishes, and stone integrations (marble, quartzite, onyx).

Lead times depend on complexity. A set of custom kitchen cabinets typically takes 6–10 weeks from design approval to installation. A single furniture piece runs 4–8 weeks. Architectural millwork for a full room — wall paneling, ceiling treatments, and trim — may take 8–14 weeks. We'll provide a specific timeline during your design consultation.

Yes. Palm Beach Fabricators accepts independent commissions separate from full construction projects. Whether you need a custom dining table, a reception desk for your office, or a one-of-a-kind statement piece, our craftsmen can design and build it to your specifications.
